Default world's first built motor and s/c on an svx

Well my project is officially done.
1992 Liquid silver SVX LS-L
CP gas forged pistons @ 8.5:1 CR
Eagle H beam rods
SS valves
Heavily changed cams ( both intake and exhaust )
Whipple 1600ax blower ( on 9psi for break-in and going to 12 after 1000 miles)
Equal length headers, true dual 2.5" exhaust ( no cats and VERY loud )
740cc NISMO injectors, Z32 MAF
Phenolic spacers
WRX front and rear seats
2004 WRX Momo steering wheel
Powdercoated BBS wheels
drilled and slotted rotors, stainless steel brake lines
Group N motor mounts
Port and polished head

I will be going to DSG for a dyno run after the break in is done. An educated guess would be around 295-315 wheel hp and around 390 torque on 9 psi, once the 12lb pulley is on I am hoping for 340ish wheel hp.

Stock trans with the 3.545's for now. I will either go with a 3.9 built auto or a 6spd swap out of an 07 STi down the road. I need a paint job amd coilovers next.

Interesting alternator relocation. I've seen pictures of other SVXs running the supercharger up top, but I've never seen how the alternator was relocated. If I'm understanding what I'm seeing correctly, the two ports on the bottom of the oil pump are being used to mount that plate the alternator mounts to? Is there another mounting point behind the alternator to support the back of that plate? I'd be interested to see a low nose shot to see where that ends up sitting once the engine is installed.

In the shot of what I think is the intake port, it looks like there's black RTV sealant all around the edges. What is that stuff?

I concur with americanyouth - the paint looks good enough in your pictures, go for the 6spd first. And the coil-overs, too - the rear ride height looks like it's on the bumpstops! Looks like you've got room in the rear for some wider wheels and tires the way the current ones are tucked like that.

Cool stuff, definitely keep this thread updated!

Looks like it is RTV where the lower part of the intake attaches to the heads. The pic must have been taken looking down through that part of the intake.

Nice job - eagerly awaiting your dyno results!

we used ultra black between the blower and the manifold, and between the manifold and the TB adaptor, also I think between the injector stack and the phenolic spacer we put between the head and the injector stack

The suspension is definitely next. The rear strut mounts are 100% shot. The only real coilover option I have is to custom make a set of Koni/ Ground Control. Spring rates would be about 450/ 375 f+r. As far as wider wheels go, I know the rear is really tucked in there but believe me there is almost zero room for anything wider. I definitely am staying with 17"'s though and once the stock re070's go I will get 245/40/17's re070's for the street and I would like another set of BBS's to put RA-1's on for the track.

I also talked to Matt at DSG yesterday about installing an aquamist set-up in the car. I will have to get a few pulleys made to see just exactly how far we can take this. I would like to see 15 PSI with the water injection and around 400whp.
