Just saw a SWP WRX yesterday in SLC and it looked more like a cream color. Is this true or was the smoke in the air from all of the fires around here playing tricks on my eyes? If not, it made me even more stoked that I went ISM!

So I just woke up from a dream/nightmare...

There I was at Evanston Subaru. My STi was in my hands, I began to thrash on it red lining with every shift while doing some sick J turns. As I roll to 20.00 miles on the odomoter my transmission breaks and the car wouldn't turn over!!! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh

Lmao, I think my dreams are the only place where I can shift at red line especially during the break-in process :<

Anyways lmao I am out of town till Wednesday and won't be able to pick my baby up till Thursday which is the real nightmare if they come earlier!!

Also, I think a group picture of the '13s would be sweet, and I would definitely frame it and put it on my wall ;p

Ha. While everyone else is getting bumped up, my ETA got pushed from 10/15 to 10/22. I assume it's because they wanted to be extra careful with shipping and take their time. Or because not many rexes come to Joplin, Missouri.

You could say it has sort of a cream color, but a lot of it depends on the lighting....same with PBP and how it looks depending on the lighting.

Apparently as of yesterday mine its showing as "completed" status in the report. I take it this is similar to "released"? I'm only a 90 minute drive from Baltimore so hopefully this helps. ETA still 10/8. We'll see.

^Yeah, I have about a 2.5hr drive to get mine when it comes in. It will probably feel like 5hrs on the way there and 1hr on the way home.

It is not a true white and is more of a pearl color. Hence in P in Satin White Pearl lol. It is amazing in person and my fave color, which is why I ordered it, so I may be a little bias. The Aspen White of earlier years was more of a true white.

Completed is the step before Released.

Released is before Shipped Truck/Rail.

Shipped Truck/Rail is before Delivered.

The car's don't have to follow this formula but they usually will.

Mine is actually going to Sommers in Wisconsin. I had been dealing with Evanston (few folks from there actually) just went local with the same offer. I actually owe Evanston some big thanks, they basically got me the deal I got with Sommers. Good chance mine will be on the same truck though, just will continue north after your cars get dropped off!?

I suck at searching...im sorry. So the HID headlights are the bluish-white ones right? And the regular ones are the yellowish ones? But when they are off you can't tell the difference. Did I get it right?

Just checked in with my Dealer.

I requested that they don't apply tire shine to the tires or install my front plate bracket when the car arrives. They said that not a problem.

There were few stories on here about certain tire shines staining the SWP, and I don't want anyone to be drilling holes in my front bumper, I'd rather do it myself.

I asked if my order had recieved a VON yet, (Ordered (9/29) No luck, but he said he will keep checking.

This is why I prefer to not know. If Mike emails me an update then great. But, it'll come when it comes. It doesn't matter whether I know where it's at or not. This way it's just easier to not be thinking about it night and day. Although, I do understand the desire for information if you have to make a private sale before you take delivery.
