that's what i'm waiting for but i don't get them japanese over there. why do they write everything in two languages? Some unimportant stuff in English, then everything else in Japanese?

A lot of the time they use English kinda the same way we use bold or italics.

power settings?? Huh??? Looks like that may be some kind of reverse lock out(like a Focus), cause it's a six speed, there's a good chance that reverse is on the top left(like a VW or BMW).

i am really liking the GPS that pops out of the top of the dashboard... is that what our console is for over the center vents????

i wonder if i can do that in my RS........

He is pointing to the little ring around the shifter. Hmm, reverse lockout could be a good guess.

anyone else notice the open deck design? at least taht's what it looks like in the 6th pic... open deck w/ supports! now if I only knew the relative thickness between the 2.0L and 2.5L cylender walls....

If I had my choice between an open decked block and a closed decked block, I would take the closed decked block and squeeze the day lights out of it. I guess I don't understand why you want the open block. It use to be that the EJ20 had a closed decked block and they were getting an insane HP number out of then (Ok, even more insane). Then the rules in rally changed and required the cars to run an open deck block and that's why the EJ20 now has an open deck block. But if you can find one of those old blocks with the closed deck, watch out, because they were bomb proof.
