Question ??'s for WRX Sedan Owners w/18" VOLK RACING Wheel...What Offset Are You Running?

Hi everyone,

Well, I'm getting close to buying some 18" VOLK RACING wheels for my WRX Sedan. I've done some research here on I-Club, but haven't turned up too much info on the recommended specs for 18" VOLKS on the WRX. I did come across a few threads that mentioned that in general, +48 and +49mm offsets are best suited for 18" wheels on the WRX.

I'm looking at getting the 18 x 7.5 GT-N's w/a +44mm offset and 225-40-18 BRIDGESTONE SO-2's or SO-3's. Is the the +44mm offset too low for my WRX?

The guy at the shop assured me that I would not have any clearance or rubbing problems and that he has put 18" wheels w/offsets as low as +35 and +30 on WRX's w/out any trouble.

I've seen some guys on I-Club post that they've had some rubbing even w/ +48mm offsets. Can anyone shed some light on this matter?

Any feedback or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Regards,

CL

+48mm offset for your sedan will be the best.

225/40/18 size for the tire. 215/40/18 for the wagon guys.

Just my recomendation.

Please pay at the window. Thank you.
