Default 2.5 RS at 10k, switching to synth, any suggestions

I have read the faq, and other threads on oil change, but still a bit confused. Also most seem to refer to the wrx, and since I am not turbo not sure what would fit my car best.

I have 05 RS, 10K miles now, and I drive it hard. its an auto, and hit 5k rpms regularly, and cruise at 3k rpms.

I was going to go with mobil 1 synth, but been reading about others; amsoil, motul, etc...

not sure which one suite me best, I am in NY to so average temps I guess.

thanks for any help, and exact brand and formulation would be great

thx

Jay

The Oil FAQ I wrote is the same for EVERY car. Pick an oil brand & type you like, use the weight that is stamped on your oil filler cap, and worry about things that are more important.
