im just going to go with the general consensus that this thread is in desperate need of a video that includes driving, not only talking.

stock radiator????????????????????????
Judging by the picture in post #25, how many miles were driven on that setup? Haven't blown the top off the stock radiator? Am I seeing clearly? Curious.

about 7500 ish miles were put on with that system. all of them on race gas . woulda put a bunch more if the thing hadnt gone lean .
*found the source of the lean out on my car that caused it to crush the ring lands . the little flat sock on the end of the fuel pickup in the tank picked up a few metal shavings (no idea, more on that later ) and folded in on itself due to the vacuum . thusly starving the fuel pump , and the whole system . extreem lean out at 130mph! As for the shavings of metal in my tank , thats a comlete mystery . i have definatly never drilled into my tank . and i only used 100 octane fuel from velero on cave crk and union hills in Phx. no probelm there .and then went to 103 vp streetblaze . i dont know from there , but thats how it goes . ill have pics again tomorrow. |

gotta love how someone goes outside the box and half the people have to come in and jump on the guy about this and that.
without people doing stuff like this and stretching what we know as the limitations, there will never be any progression in the tuning of our cars. anyways, really loving the setup, that supercharger/manifold looks like some of the best engineering i've ever seen, can't wait to see more of it! |

It is great to see tuners thinking of new ways to make power. Seen this in another forum
A new GTR 4-Charger system, 2 Superchargers + 2 turbos. Badass, now they just need a PPG gearset and the car is perfect. |

Its still a prototype, coming out next year, they say around 650hp, but this "should" make the powerband alot wider.

all that for 650AWHP??? I bet that would be one hell of a responsive ssytem, just hope the trans and transfercase can hold it. Honestly, not gonna lie, I'll still take an R34 over the 35. Sick engineering.

The SC dont add much for hp, just responce. The turbos will always flow more air then the SC.

Usually higher end vehicles like that use both and depending on the size of the turbos may phase out the sc. that is why i asked.

just because wiseco's are a bit cheaper than the competitors pistons does NOT mean they are inferior quality to the competitors
show me one example of where a wiseco failed and a competitor wouldnt have wiseco has been making pistons for racing applications forever, they are high quality, and work well. And they dont kill you on pricing, that should be a good thing, never thought of a bad |
