Cool Finally...got my H&R Springs and V5 Struts Installed!

Well, after several months with the springs sitting around the house (got them on sale), and then a month or so with the struts (also a good sale), I finally got my suspension installed. I really wanted to do it myself, but we've been moving, and I haven't had time for much of anything. Since I let my wife spend so much on new stuff for the house, she let me pay someone to install the suspension for me. I took out the back seat and surrounding interior bits to help make it easier (and cheaper), and got it done for $295, which is a lot better than the $400 I was quoted somewhere else. I'm not sure of the actual drop yet, I'll measure it tomorrow at work with the same jig I used to measure it before the swap. The ride is firm, yet not rough. The handling is awesome. It feels like a different car. No rubbing yet, but I haven't really put it through the paces. The guy said the alignment came right in- I guess the Hondas have some trouble with that when they drop them.

In a nutshell, looks good, feels good. It seems like a good spring and strut combination. Here's some pictures to show a rough comparison. They're not very good, but you get the idea. <IMG SRC="http://albums.photopoint.com/j/View?u=1472522&a=11083208&p=49054656&Sequence=0&re s=high" border=0>

Unhappy

Your pics' are not coming in. I also just put in H&R springs in to my stock struts, just cause I could not afford the V5 struts yet but I will have them soon. Even with just the springs changed its a different car. Just to add I did the springs myself with a friend and it took 6 hours, and I will have to do it again when I get my struts.

This is what it looks like with just the H&R springs:

See if they show up now. It dropped 1.2 inches in the front, and 1.4 inches in the rear. Just FYI.

Okay, I'll work on the pics when I get home. Apparently I can't get them from my Yahoo briefcase to here. I'll post them somewhere else and try again.
