Lol whats the secret then cuz I don't but 340+ with basic stage 2 setup. While almost every stage 2 setup us barley making 300 I don't see a tuner pushing out an extra 40 over everyone else. Is it a built motor or just some crazy high reading dyno

Freak turbo and freak engine. Every once in a while you see something like that.

Lol a freak engine would be like 320 I just cant see an engine and turbo being so much better that it would produce 50 hp over everyone else. Those numbers just dont make sense.

With e85 I believe it. 320whp "maxed out" on 93 + e85, leaner and more timing. Shouldn't be impossible.
I buy it. I'm shooting for big numbers on a VF30. But e85 is not nearby. |

Ya e85 is completely believable but were talking pump 93 gas and 320 us even believable but 340+ just seems a bit much without headers or some kind of meth or alternative high octane fuel.

Oh yeah that's a stretch. Not saying it isn't possible but I wouldn't believe it based off one dyno. Not running a 1/4 for longevity is a cop out.

Here's the quote, from a thread I made about my hta68 tune: "Injectors are 100% around 320whp. I had to do injectors to get the range. I'll check the dyno computer to see if the graphs are still there. I had another database failure (too many cars) a handful of months ago." In context, Dom was talking about a 350hp (on his Dynocom) VF39 setup -- but the motor had cams and bigger injectors. Last edited by Dave D.; 01-16-2013 at 11:22 AM. |

FYI Hydra is very expensive and not easy to tune without a dyno and having Phil from element tuning do it for ya, but it does have a ton of options and safety options. If your thinking of running e85 then you may want to think about a tank sensor to make sure your getting real e85 so you don't run lean.

I've got 350whp with FP Green HTA. But only obtain peak torque at 4800-5000rpm.

Good power at 4k But that e85 tune is a ROCKET lotz of power down low And burns all 4 tires shifting into 2nd I cant hardly stand running 92 octane any more Bad part is stock clutch is gone with that power. In the process of replacing it now |

Still in recovery mode, getting forged internals now. Not sure i'll go back to E85. The torque was insane. I think i'm going to go for a larger turbo down the line instead of E85. I think it will be safer so the trans doesn't explode next. |
