Post Never owned a subaru wanted to know how people felt about their impreza/legacy models

i'm going to give subaru a shot. After having driven both an 09 legacy and hatchback* i was impressed with the handling and overall build. Now driving the car is not remotely the same as ownership- so I was looking for some advice, suggestions, anything that will help me while im looking at all the other stuff it takes to be a subaru owner. My budget right now is 10k ceiling, I'm probably looking for a unicorn right now and im probably looking forward to an unending search through internet ads- it is possible! im currently looking for a subaru legacy 06 - 12 or a impreza hatchback also 06- 12, under 80k miles.
After about a month or so of searching it seems like an 09 is a nice year. being a conservative starting from scratch driver and am not in a big bit with pocket money at the moment
its mostly going to be a work car but would like something able to handle rugged situations.

If you got this far thanks for the read
Best-

RC

Is this a spam thread? It looks like you wrote something in another language then had it translated back into english.

It's a work in progress- im sure questions i have up there have been put up a thousand times already- I just dont want to get a bad car, like any person would. I now live in a rugged area and I worry about the winter months. Plenty of people out here seem to have a sedan and a AWD of some variety.
