Question sedan owners, do you have a cd changer in the trunk...

1. where in the trunk is it?

2. got pixs?

i'm trying to see about mounting it under the rear shelf but i'm thinking it might skip alot there.

thanks...

Do an mp3 player in the dash, then you don't have to bother with a changer.

Wow that's helpful If it's a 6 disc it should fit fine under the passenger seat(or the drivers but I find it easier to get to from the drivers seat with it under the passenger). i mounted my Clarion 12 disc under there and I had to unbolt the back bolts on the seat to get it under there but it fits and the seat moves fine from front to back. It's an older model so it's a lot bigger than the newer stuff, my alpine 6disc I used to have fit with plenty of room to spare. I used velcro on the bottom of both of them and havn't had a problem with it moving or skipping. -James

Thumbs up

Do an MP3 player in the Dash AND an MP3 changer. I was able to fit my 6 disk Alpine CHA-S634 in the glove compartment with room to spare.

If you want max trunk space, screw it to the rear deck so it's not on the trunk floor. Or maybe on the flip down pass-through. The side pieces and rear seat pieces in the trunk are really thin and if you don't use a bolt/washer or one of those speed-nut things I'm sure it won't last long before it works itself loose. There are also two vertical supports for the rear, can't see them unless you remove the rear seats, you could use that to secure a piece of plywood/mdf/whatever for your mounting point too.
