What kind of deal did you get at Hodges? Anything close to 200 over invoice?

Thanks,

Suburban Subaru/Mazda does suck. I went there for the 22K mi service recently. I drive up to service and leave my car. I go to the showroom to look around. A sales guy comes up to me and asks what car is that you drove up in?? (It's a MY01 RS BTW)

They dont even know thier own cars...........sad.

Hodges is a wonderful dealership. My mom bought her outback there and has had all the service done there. THey are super nice. I buy all the partsthere for my 95' impreza. I am a 19 year old male and when I went there with my friend who bouht a 2001 impreza wagon from there, we were looking around. I initially went to buy a new window crank and i was checking out a white WRX wagon just for fun. The owner approached us and asked us if we had been in one yet. We both replied no and he told us to take it for a spin when another gentlemen was done. He checked to see if i had a lisence, handed us thekeys and said "I know your not in the market, but just tell me what you think". This totally amazed me and I was pretty impressed with the car. I told my father about this and he now has a sodona red WRX wagon hat he purchased from hodges. I have had nothing but good sevice from them. Even though Suburban is much closer to home, Hodges easily worth the extra drive. Go there.

I also bought my WRX there in July/Aug. and they were pretty cool. I paid almost sticker though But at the time there was a 3 month wait and some guy backed out of a deal so I HAD to have it! HEHEHE. I have'nt gone there too much since though because I'm mostly in Lansing. I visit Williams Auto World and service/sales (even though I didn't buy from them) both are awesome...almost better it seems. Thumbs up for Hodges...Two for WAW, and a definite thumbs down for the one in Troy(Suburban I think) they are horrible!!!!!g.g.

I never been to Hodges dealer before, but i heard they are great! I live in East Lansing, when i first want to buy a WRX i went to william's Auto World, I think they SUCKS AS HELL! The service and attitude of those sales people are the worst... Anyone in East Lansing that know where is a good place to install after market parts? I'm planning to get a RT spec kit from cobb tuning. (~320HP) what do you guys think about that kit?

I had the worst time at suburban subaru of troy, after going out there to sign paper work they told me they could not get the title for the car, they never called back and would not even talk to the bank I got my loan through. Willams Auto World had no hesitation when I asked for help. They did the paper work quickly and mailed stuff to me so we could get done sooner. I like this dealership the best!

I delt with Paul, he is really cool. I stop by every now and then with my boyfriend and just talk about cars. The only other person I have talked with is Ed, he is all work and no chating, but he gets things done. So if you're going to Willams Auto World, I reccommend talking with Paul.

Hey can you guys post somes prices you payed for your car? The dealer around me, Williams Auto World is selling their car for $25,400 and I worked out the invoice to be $23,100. They said the lowest they would go is $24,400 because there isn't a big market for them. Also the car has over 400 miles on it too. Dunno why it still cost so much. They said they had the car for couple months and I said I would take it of their hands right there and then for 23,800 dunno why they didnt take that deal. Funny cause its costing them more to keep it on the lot for so long.

Allm the salesmen are good guy's. If it's really important to you though ask for Phil. And come back and say hi. I'm getting tired of seeing yoni all the time.

I don't have my WRX, but within the month I'll be putting in my order (unless the dealer has what I want, at the same price).

I'm S of Ann Arbor/Lansing, so I'm in a decent area to visit a few dealerships. But, from what I've picked up at AA dealership, they're not budging much off of MSRP.

So, the question is, how do you do it? They know they have a guarranteed sale, which should work to my advantage, but it's seeming not to. Can you really haggle with this car? They know that we (consumer) know the invoice prices, and from some posts throughout this site, some regions are getting incredible deals, but what about Michigan?

Thanks for the comments!

Hey Ben, tell your boss that the reason I've gotten my oil changed their every time is because of the free wash! In the winter, that is really cool! Mike, you must be shorter than me because whenever I get my car back, ALL the mirrors are changed... and the guy only has to drive around the corner of the service building! hehe Just a minor thing though.

I got mine for MSRP but I had to wait 8 weeks for it. This was back in late summer. When I was buying the car, sometime Kevin would forget who I was, but I don''t think he was really used to having such a popular product.

A big thumbs up for Hodge esp. when a-holes like the Livonia dealership are still around (they wanted to charge my friend $3000 over MSRP and wouldn't let him test drive - they also told him MI was only getting 50 WRX's!)

I ordered my '03 at Hodges. They are awesome. I got mine for an awesome price, and the sales people are great.

I highly recommend Hodges, I have been to Suburban and they (well to make a long story short) they were very forcefully and literally called my house daily for about a month after just taking a WRX for a test drive. To top it off... I gave them a fake number... some how they took the time to look up my name and find my correct number.

I ordered my rex last week from Hodges and like I said they were very good. I am expecting my car in early March so we will see... I don't see them continuing to be anything less than stellar.

(damn thats a lot of plugs for Hodges.)

I've ordered some parts from Hodges parts department. They seemed really good.

Does anyone know offhand if Hodges will cut an STi key?
