So to get back on track the other day I was pumping gas and a local chamorro guy pulled up and was just staring at my car. ( for one there are very few sti's on th island of Guam and my car is debadged) he looks at me and asks "is that a honda?!" I almost fainted!! But instead I just laughed told him no and drove away lol but I made sure he heard my turbo spool on the way out lol. Gotta love Guam.

guy "What, are you going to take your SUBARU up there?"
me "WTF are you talking about?"
guy "Your subaru, are you going to take it up everest?"

lol well played ...

The sad thing is, the kid that said it is my friend. I guess he spent to much time listening to people say words without bothering to figure out what any of them mean

Today on the the phone with a friend that's wanting a wrx. He said "I GOTTA ASK YOU A SERIOUS QUESTION...
Him:: "My friend says Subarus have really bad head problems and will blow up at 70k miles."

me: "Is this the same friend who told me he welded aluminum plate to replace the floor in his mustang....that he never had?"
Him:"Yeah."

Me: "My car has 91k on a stage 2.....wanna send him a pic of the mileage on my dash?"

That stuff is so variable too. I'm sure if you only replace your oil once every 10,000miles...that would probably kill an engine quick.

I complain about my MPG to people. They say,"It's that V6."

Also, Honda owners are always shocked to hear that my WRX is turbo'd.

Another one,"I didn't know your hood scoop was functional."

"You should put a blow off valve on that."

Of course not. Why blow your money if it's only going to last 70k?! Am I right!?
