Default How to best clean sti seats?

Title basically encompasses my question, i've heard steam cleaning works well, is that my best bet or is there some good cleaner to use? By the way are the sti seats suede?

Steam cleaning has worked the best for me. It was even able to remove a melted M&M stain on my passenger seat.

go rent a rug doc. from a grocery store and you can do your homes carpets to!!

alcantara is NOT TO BE STEAMED.

Im at work and can't get to the alcantara website.

But dont steam STi seats, bad idea.

^^ Ok, well what do you suggest? And why is it bad to steam them? Ive had a wrx for 3 years but just bought an sti, so im going to want to clean mine sometime too...

Oops my fault, I asked the guy that washes/details my car (comes once a week to my office). He said he shampooed and vacuumed it. He did not steam it.

please do not steam... this has been gone over a bunch of times

research alcantara cleaner on google and load of stuff comes up

"Sonax" and "Leather Master" comes to mind
