Default Are there any chat programs (IM, Yahoo!) that can be used on Mac or PC?

My wife uses an iMac at school and I'm obviously on a PC.

Can Yahoo Messenger or AOL IM be used on a Mac? Thanks

OS X comes with a program that'll interface with AIM.... iChat

or you can just download the official AOL client and use it. I'm pretty sure there's a MSN and Yahoo client too.
