There's smithracing17's car:

There's my car...

I think black badge is too dark for PSM. Sorry, but silver looks better to me. Not because It's my car

Red stripes looks good tho, get some Supertones behind that!

did anyone do the rear badge as well? i'm trying to for my 08. i got the badge off but the back is covered, not like the front where the paintable part just pops out.
looks like this: sorry its tiny.

the chrome piece is the entire back.

i tried heating the blue side and prying it out of the chrome frame but it wouldn't budge. any advice on this would be appreciated. thanks

The 06 rear badge is like that. On my 06, the emblem back was completely covered with a thin layer of 3m VHB tape. From the view you're looking at in the pic, is there a small hole off to one side? If there is, use that to push the emblem off after you have heated it thoroughly with a hairdryer.

Here's my 06 in 2 pieces with CF on the chrome:

So I am trying to do this with a brand new badge right now and I have got all the paint and silver flacking off but the emblem looks really foggy. I used goof off and the qutips just like what was recomended. Is my emblem destroyed? Did the goof off end up eating away at the emblem and that's why?
Also depending on how mine times out, if it comes out f'ed up would someone that has already done there's and had it come out good be interested in making me one? If so please pm me or email me. Thanks!

You'll probably be ok as long as the fogging is on the back side of the plastic. If it's on the front, you can use the sanding/plastic polish method mentioned earlier in this thread, I doubt it goes very deep.

Goof off chemically attacked the plastic. Use Plastic-X and some elbow grease to clear it up by removing the thin layer that is fogged.

try drilling a small hole in the back, but go slow and dont hit the front badge, then use that hole to poke something through and push the front part out, but remember to heat it because that **** will not budge if its not hot.....best of luck, and ya badges look sick, POST THE CARBON FIBER lol
