Arkansas! That's close to me. FYI it hit 109* degrees here today. Feels like a hot hair dryer to the face. Good luck!

F&$k me!!!! I'm hoping that since we will start early in the morning that the burn will be a slow one and my body will get accustomed to it. Why they don't do these inspections in the fall I will never know.

7 hours and I get to see my car again. I will be setting up the Aquamist kit with Bertune this afternoon. He installed all my gauges and the kit. Hoping that getting the kit to run is going to be easy. Hoping my soldering job works with my weather pack connections. Fingers crossed.

Meth kit is installed finally!!!! My Weather Pack and quick disconnect line is working Bertune's handiwork was well done as well. We decided to place the controller in the fuse box area on the driver's side. It is easy to access for any changes that need to be made.

I also decided on 100% meth. No need to mess with mixing. I have plenty for back up

Thank you Smeerone for coming by and dropping off some Burger King for us! I know it looked like Bertune and I were fighting a lot, we were lol. All in good fun though.

Phatron and I are currently tuning tonight. So far a cruise and 2nd gear pull. This thing is kicking!!!

We hit a Cuban place for a late lunch around 2 and then tucked some wires after. Left around 5 to get to ft Lauderdale by 6 to get more meth.

Ok, well it is 3:20 am and I just finished trouble shooting a boost issue that I was having during my tunes. The car was hitting 25+ psi in 2nd gear. Way higher than Phatron was looking for. I pulled the top mount off, checked for crimped wires, checked to see if the EBCS was inncorrectly connect and found nothing. I started to consider that the EBCS went down and I needed to install the OEM one to test to make sure. But I didn't.

I then realized, hey maybe the wire for the boost controller from the meth kit was not done correctly. Bingo!!! An orange wire that was mistaken for a brown wire was used to connect the controller to the EBCS. I took the connection apart and resoldered the right wire on. Went for a test drive and bingo. Back in business. The pressure dropped to 15 PSI.

That was not a fun scare.

Big thanks to Jeff Howerton at Howerton Engineering!!!! This morning he helped with getting us off the ground at 8 am his time and then responded to my questions tonight at 1 am his time. He is in California. I told him what I thought and he was able to confirm it.

Yes Matt, I thought about it. Your help with your comment drove it home that maybe it was actually the wiring.

I would like to thank, themaus and Jeff Howerton for their help in trouble shooting .

I'm still going back and forth with Jeff now to get the gauge setup properly etc.
