Just put mine on since it looks like we're into the constant-highs-below-40 weather now.

This

And the fact that the sidewalk was cold enough to have ice on it this morning.

See you in the springtime star specs...

Just got done great all seasons I'm going to use for winters two weeks ago.. They have been on for about two weeks...

The weather hasn't been to great for the blizzak owners though.. 35° nights but 60°+ days..

Correct me of I'm wrong but it detrimental to a purley winter tire to use under 50°

Think you got that backwards. Detrimental if over 50 degrees.

Don't know what you guys mean by detrimental, but they are tires. They wear in all conditions, but maybe a tad bit more during warmer weather. They're not going to explode or anything though...THAT would be detrimental.

I'm thinking about getting this done sometime next week and am curious as to where you guys went to get'm done?

Last place I went to, to get the summers on, played with my car a bit so I don't want to go there again. Played meaning revving MY CAR while I was in the waiting room till the guy at the desk told them to stop. In the Lake County area

Guys & Gals,

What winter tire is your favorite in either a 215/45-17 or 225/45-17 size?

Well I'm cheap so I'd go with the smaller ones. The 225's will be a little bit taller and will give you a bit more ground clearance. That would be an issue if you drive through really deep snow often.

I'm still on summers. Haven't had the need for my snows yet.
