Default meth question

Thinking about getting a aem meth kit but I want to know if I need a special tune or if I can just hook it up and go? I have a cold air intake a full tbe exhaust and Cobb ap stage 2 tune. And should I get any other mods before I get a meth kit? Or am I fine with what I have? Any input is great as to what I should do

You will want to get it tuned. I suppose you may be able to run the smallest nozzle without any danger of harming your engine. But you will not see any power gains until it's tuned.

A tune is always recommended with added mods on these cars.
Meth is a fuel, so if you install it and drive it w/o a tune you will be running rich on WOT. If your too rich, you'll get bore wash & murder your motor slowly.

The tune is needed to adjust your fuel trims to make it a tad leaner (since you can w/ meth) & increase boost to make more power. It burns hotter thus, creating mad torque & spool.

A tune tells the ecu how to compensate for the meth & make it work with your car, not against it.

Meth is awesome for people who don't have access to higher octane fuels. You have to be careful when tuned for it to not run out during a pull, but as long as you are mindful of how much you have in the tank, it makes for a great way to safely increase power.
