Default Tune after pulley?

Maybe this has been beaten to death, idk. I searched and couldn't find anything. Some people I saw had a slew of other upgrades and were asking about getting tunes but not with just a lightened pulley. I did see one answer from a noob who said you don't need a tune because it's not adding power. His logic made some sense but I thought I'd get more opinions, hopefully from people who have been where I am now. I just want to make sure before I purchase one that it won't cause issues without a tune since I don't have the money for a tune. I do understand that the benefits are greater with a tune however. Bring on the opinions.
