Default Okay guys the time has come. My engine is ready to put in. Who wants to help.

I have all of the parts and my motor is ready to put in. I was going to do this in February or March but everything lagged. The motor will be assembled next week and ready for installation April 26th and 27th. Anyone can come and help, watch, or just hang out and ask questions. I want to have a BBQ both days so we all have some food to eat. Please let me know if you can come. I dont need any tools, but i will need lots of hands, some food, and entertainment.

what engine drop are you doing I know a whole lot now that i have taken apart my 2.5RS and installed an EJ20 JDM. I know every bolt and its size. LOL! If any one wants info about this process let me know we did it in two days a total of 26 hours no power tools and no special car lifts. Just 4 stands 21 inches high. Now time for wiring, coming soon. Very easy with having JDM harness'. Then wire up my stand alone and off I go. Well let me know what swap you are doing and I will tell you all the tools you will need as well. We had to go to the store 6 times. So i may be of some help there. Well enough blabering at 3am in the morning, let me know if i can be of some help.

Thanks Nick for fixing my exhaust today.... sounds much better without that leak. We'll see how long the gaskets hold up, i may have to replace them sometime.

cool deal on that rear gasket... it sounds much better, but there's still a little fluttering sound coming out of it. The new flange definately had to be done, but I think that the gasket is just beat up (both of them). So I think the remaining sound may be coming from the rear flange joint. (?) I think i just want to get a high quality gasket to replace the two that are on there.

Anyway, I work both the 26th and the 27th, but I can be there after 5 pm. Later.

Yea I've taken part in the better part of 4 engine swaps. Its really not all that hard when theres 3 guys that know exactly what they are doing. I'll prolly regret not paying closer attention when we do stealths, but I dont think we'll have any issues. Basically the hardest part is getting the shift fork in right on initial drop...everything else is just bolt on.
