I have 1998 Legacy GT seats. They are grey cloth. Not sure if it is the same grey cloth though. I'm in Oregon, so shipping would be the only way. they are in MoMo seat boxes though, so that won't be a problem. Let me know if you're intersted.

Too bad you didn't ask a few months ago when I was still living down there. I have my '99 seats still. I know the center fabric pattern is a bit different from '97 to '99, so I'm assuming it's a bit different from your, but it's close enough that most people wouldn't know.

If you ever come up to New England, let me know.

I have the same set as well, if these don't work out for you.

Jared- when you get shipping costs, could you post it here? Box dimensions, weight, etc. I'd be interested to see what the charge is.

I have 95 cloth seats, they're in my car but I could deal for a bit until a deal on some WRX seats or something came along. I'm in NJ and my seats are honestly in mint condition, car has 80,000 on it now abouts and first owners babied it as much as me.
Peace,
Kyle

Unfortunately the seats are two hours away from me, which means that I won't be able to get a quote for a week or two...I'll keep you posted...

deal for a bit?

You mean you'd sell your seats off and drive around without a seat?

That's what I got out of it.

Haha what do I care I'm a freshman at school and can't have a car. My mom would be screwed if it snowed since she has a Lexus GS300 and that thing blows in snow, but hey no inconvience to me right now haha. Knew someone would say that.
Peace,
Kyle

Pat - The Leather seats on my '99 GT have seat bottoms that I find are much too firm, Between these seats and the moon roof, I have very little head room, also under anything approaching serious performance driving I have a general sensation of 'sliding off' these seats.

On the other hand, my 'beater' '96 Legacy "L" has softer cloth seats that are reasonably 'grippy', and with the softer seat bottoms I actually sink in to the seats a bit, giving me that much more head room.

I cant help wondering if ditching the leather on the '99 will give me more head room or not...

I am not sure if the seat designs in general changed over the years to make the seat bottoms firmer, or if this is just something unique to the leather seat option...

Are you actually interested in selling your stock cloth seats ?

Thanks.

I'll have to see what I have around usually no interior shots, but I'll ask my parents to bring the car to school this weekend and photograph them, latest you'd have them is by sunday night. I'll let you know what I can do.
Peace,
Kyle

Brian -

I am still not sure if the reason the leather seat bottoms are so stiff is do to a general seat design change, or if it relates to the leather itself. Ideally I guess I would want a "test sitting". Depending on the condition of your seats, I am guessing something in the $70 - $100 range for the pair might be reasonable ? Am I safe in assuming your seats are the traditional basic mouse fir grey colour ?

I will take pictures of my seats this weekend. Yes, they're the generic gray color and in good shape. I will also box them up and get dimensions & weights for a shipping estimate.

Jonathan- since 98_soobie started this thread, I'd like to give him first chance if none of his other pending deals work out. If he gets seats elsewhere, I'll sell you my seats. Let's give him a couple days.

$75.00 would be more than adequate. You can sit on 'em in the garage if you'd like.

I can email higher res versions of these. The seats are in good shape overall.

UPS ground is quoting ~$60.00 each, for a 24"x24"x32" box, 48lbs, shipped from 02021 to 21154.

I don't actually have them boxed up yet, as I don't have boxes big enough. I need to go buy a couple, and they're likely a few bucks each.

If you want these, I'd be looking for $50.00 plus shipping costs & boxes, so $175.00 overall.
