Default Utec Uninstall?

I bought my car with a TurboXS Utec installed and I wanna go back to stock...Is it easy to uninstall? Anyone have instructions? 02 WRX

Yes, its pretty easy. Its installed on top of the ECU on the passenger footwell. Just remove the foot plate, unscrew the UTEC, and unplug the wires going into and out of the UTEC. Then just plug the wires back into the ECU and you're done.

Does your car have the ABC in the engine bay?

I think the best thing to do would be consult the manual (here) and follow the installation instructions in reverse. That will allow you to account for all the UTEC parts which should help you when it comes to selling it.

If your car has upgraded injectors you should not remove your utec without putting stock injectors in or reflashing your ECU with new injector scale values.

would this be the same for an 05 sti? Dont see why not..

so pretty much after you uninstall it the car should be running fine and just back to stock. Nothing else you need to do besides unplugging everything and reattaching wires, correct?
