Default got a lfat, is it safe to replace one tire?

I just put on brand new Toyo RXFZ4 about 3,000 miles ago and sure enough, I have to replace one of them due to -vandalism- ... so, is it ok to just get one new tire, will the SMALL difference in tread effect the diffs on my 04 sti???

thx

Have the tire store measure the difference between the new tire and the used tires. They should be able to shave the new tire down to the same level as the old tires solving your problem. I haven't had this done personally but it should be pretty cheap since its just one tire.

If the tread depth difference is 1/16" or more, you need to have the new one shaved.
