Stage2 25hp upgrade??? 09 wrx sedan
I took my 09 wrx out to Corr Performance ( Great guy Btw! :thumbup to test stage 2. Now this does not seem right. I only gained 25 hp from stock when flashed to Stage 2 93. They are getting the system to become protuners and will get them to tune it. But the claim on cobbs part of 19% hp was not reached. Im just wondering why I only gained 25 hp.
Mods. invidia catless DP AP CBE TubroXS CAI Green is my stock run pulled on Feb 2. Blue stage 2 was pulled yesterday

How long before this did you flash to stage 2? The ECU takes a little while to fully learn the map.

I see your problem which is most likely your "TubroXS CAI".
Where's the dyno plots for your A/F. Obviously if you don't know this but the 07+ Subaru's intake is EXTREMELY sensitive to any type of change; and it's pretty much waste of money IMHO to upgrade it unless need being. Something as simple as stg2 there's no reason to, but that's my 2cents. Once you get that mods calibrated in the map then I'm sure you'll be pulling the appropriate power levels... GL! |

I have had the CAI on since the 3rd day I bought it in dec. No issues. The cobb stage 2 base map supports the aftermarket intakes. But doing and saying are 2 diff things. =) I have included the A/F chart.
I agree custom tuning should help. Im going back out this Sat to tune. Thanks for the inputs. Chris |

You should be happy. Look at your torque curve. Except for that little stock torque "pimple" you were about 35-50 wtrq under your new tune in the midrange. Understand that at the crank that is about a 40-60crank- torque increase...
Torque is what gets you moving... Hp is calculated from trq in a direct relationship... You should smile. |

I was about where you are now last spring.(245hp-287trq to the wheels on a dynojet).. and I thought.. Holy mackeral... That was fast!
(on my 2004 Forerester Xt) .. then I went w/ 50/50 meth and H2O, TGV delete, Turbo inlet, phenolic spacers, lightweight pulley, and many pro-tunes later.. |

I think im way way to rich. Might be where im loosing power from. The last 2 days I have noticed it more. Its to the point today I could smell it in the car with the windows rolled up. Cant wait till they tune it tomorrow.

Are you concerned about what looks like a knock event/timing pull at 3800rpms in your new tune? I would look into it. Do you have datalogs from the new dyno pulls?

I belive they do, they would have to answer that. The pink line is Cobb OTS map. The orange is the protune.
If you would like to look around I can go out and do a 3rd gear pull and post the data log. |

nice
Dude thats such a big difference from before. Again what mods did you do from the 1st tuning day? Just the cold air intake. Just outta curiosity why do the logs look to turbulent (choppy) vs the other tune? I would like to see what the data logs look like on a road pull.
