I found a thread about guys using Scrubbing Bubbles bathroom cleaner. We happened to have a can in the house so I tried it. Wow! It worked well. It has stayed cleaner too. It doesn't seem to be holding dirt and road grime so much. I used compressed air to blow-dry the engine bay. |

They purge some threads when they get long in the tooth like some of ours was getting, it happens every now and then.

There has been some discussion on whether or not the JDM ones and the USDM ones are identical. Some people find that the JDM brakes are slightly narrower. |

Both are the same pad design, both use the same rebuild kit, both are heavy cast iron. I believe I've read that the brake pads and piston rebuild kits are the same as the Nissan 4 pots from the 300ZX and Skylines. All of them manufactured by Sumitomo. |

Dropped it off to have body work done (long overdue from last winter's abuse). Requested to keep the old headlights, fog lights and front bumper. Might take two weeks since we doubt Conti carries 2008-2011 STI headlights.

strakes bonded to sideskirts, gonna fill the lines with more bonding agent so it looks like a onepiece sideskirt.
shot first coat of primer and sanded it off, bonded prodrive lip to front bumber, also gonna fill the lines so it looks like one piece bumper. |

Bought another 1st gen Legacy. It's a 91 Wagon. It stinks like dog.
Gotta round up the parts to get it road worthy for a reliable spare driver. It's loaded, and has a 5-speed!!! |

Very nice! I've always wanted a skid plate. I still do. All cars in Alaska should have them as an option. "The Alaska Option: Skid plates under everything, including your wheels."

Skid plates are great......unless your job requires you remove and replace about 20 a day.

I believe he was trying to say that they look the same as WRX seats just with the STi insignia.

Put new rear rotors and pads on. Hopefully no more squeaking.
