I'd be interested in seeing some install photos as well. Are you guys cutting the fenders up a lot or just trimming?

i cut my fenders pretty deep too.. had to make sure it wont run/cut my tire when turning...
unfortunately i don't have any install pics.. sorry. |

my flares should be coming back from paint next week. ill post some pictures. The installation is unnerving and requires cutting that you cannot come back from.

Fedex delivered mine today. Not too many bugeyes with these. I know of 2 so far. White one and a blue one.

I followed this thread. Cutting and forming the rears were the toughest part of the process for me. You will need to bear in mind you need to cut enough of the rears to fit your wheels... and by doing so, the outer panel will separate from the inner thicker metal, and will need to be either welded or sealed back together to prevent moisture from occurring. Cutting the fronts are no big deal. I would advise you to be comfortable with drilling and installing nutserts or have someone whom is if you will be taking on this project. Also, the nutserts do not sit in the plastic bumpers so you will simply need a bolt, washer, and nut to secure the flare pieces which adjoin to the plastic bumpers. the biggest word of advice is to MEASURE MULTIPLE TIMES AND CUT ONCE! |
