Offset on the Works is too high. You want +15 or lower

Depends on the wheel shape and spoke design. However if you are running +15 or lower there is going to be more then enough room typically.

Any info on that fender duct? Mine runs up through a fog light hole. That looks a lot better. |

it's just a naca duct from racepartswholesale.com. cut a naca shaped hole in the fender. riveted it on. and got an elbow pipe from home depot to feed the SRI.

Can anybody running these on just a wrx chime in? i had a few questions as to what wheel specs you guys were running and how hard it was to find a wheel wide enough with a 5x100 bolt pattern. Also i have been told before that running such and aggresive wheel/ tire combo can cause damage to the wheel bearings because they are smaller than STI ones.

Why do I see several cars on here not using the lower front section of the front flares?

Got a question. Looking at putting these flares on my car, how will an 18x11 +20 fit? Thanks

+1 depends how much caster they're running. I also have no clearance issues on mine. 18x11 +10 with 5 degrees of caster.
18x11 +20 will be ok, but +1 to what apetron said |

Thanks! I'm not opposed to spacers but I would rather not drive with them. I just need some wheels to drive around on until I get the money to get some ccw's. but if I'm doing the flares I need to do them now before I get the car re-painted

Does anyone have a step by step thread on installing the flares? I've heard it of different ways and I'm just curious before I go and purchase them this winter

fitment question
so i have a 2005 Impreza , Planning to buy Enkei RPF1 18x10 +38 and 25 ISC Adapters to change the bolt pattern , so i will be running +13 offset , and 285/35 tires , my question is will it be big enough to fit flares or i need to get 10.5 or 11" wheels ? , notice that i can't buy the 18x10.5 +15 because of the offset and adapters , because if i do i will be running -10 offset , which will be too much.

285 tires on a non turbo impreza seems a bit much but if you are just going for the look like most are these days you'll need at least 10.5 wide wheels to justify the flares. Maybe even a 5mm spacer as well...
