Last I heard he left the manufacturer because the person he was working with retired and left the business to his son whose quality wasn't up to par?

Regardless, I gotta agree with TURBOTOD's original post. I would absolutely love to support Karlton, but if he bailed out on us without a clear indication as to why he left, nor whether he's coming back, we have no choice but to move on.

Also, I never heard of him being fed up with replicas... Perhaps I've just been out of the loop, but replicas seem inevitable, and regardless, they're **** compared to his work. My 2¢

so I finally got around to install the wheels I got 2 years ago. After my wheels got stolen, I borrowed a set of STi takeoffs from a friend, put 4 different sets of wheel locks on it, and left it parked. I just never had fun driving the car anymore..

Dry fitting before paint..modified the flares a bit..

Well, she's finally done. After 5 months of bodywork working on the weekends, here she is.

The XXRs are just on until I can afford the wheels I want.

Most of us have had the flares for years. Now the only options are to wait till Karltons are available again or buy a different brand.
