2003 WRX motor and Transmission for sale...
My enigne in my RS is pretty much dead and I'm out of time for swap and searching for the harness here is what I have...
its a 03 wrx engine with 5 speed tranny....I bought this to replace my RS engine... here is what i have -Title to the engine -1 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX engine (Working Condition) -1 2003 Subaru Impreza 5 Speed Transmission (Working Condition) -1 2003 Subaru Impreza ECU (No wiring harness) - 2003 Subaru Impreza WRX bolt on accessories (turbo, IC, etc...) - 2003 Crossmember - 2003 Differential only thing you have to buy is the wiring harness....I haven't been home yet to look on the title for the mileage, but its roughly 15000 from what me and the owner last discussed.... I am asking $2500 for it....1750 for the engine/tranny, 100 for the crossmember, 385 for the differenital and shipment for it, and 265 for shipping to MD from CA...If you are interested, Your best bet is to call me any time at 301-697-7780....If i dont answer, leave a message and I'll get back with you... the item is ready to be shipped...I WILL NOT part this out...if you are interested in just one thing, buy it, get what you want out of it and sell the rest....It is already packed up and ready to be shipped.... also there is a thread in the search that has this item listed when it was on ebay....it tells more about the guy who sells them and also the worth of something like this... http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/sho...ighlight=engine Thanks, space

This is all from the same car...so the mileage is the same for the engine as the drivetrain....
The price is why I bought it in the first place...I seen it was a good price and I knew that from selling my turbo kit for my RS that could cover the swapping cost roughly.... but after discussing this matter with my step father and todays actions with the RS I figure my subaru will be going back to its stock form....I dont need 3 cars that go 0-60 in 6 sec. or less..... anyhow, again, feel free to call.... Thanks space |

Interested I would like to see pics. How big is the crate? Only reason Im asking is that I have little room in my garage and dont know if it will fit in there. And the engine is in good running condition? I dont want to find out it has a bent valve or rod.
Thanks Andy |

The package is at a friends garage...I haven't been home to see it yet....the soonest I'll be able to get pictures of it is by next week...the package is still unopened....and I would really hate to have to open it, take pictures and repack it....but if that is what it takes to sell it I will....
the engine is in running condition, tranny in running condition, etc.......before I bought it i called the gentleman up and that was my first question....I also sent him a email that listed what parts I was getting and also put that they was in running conditions like he said it was.....he replied back saying the list was correct....send me a email and I'll fwd all emails between me and him to [email protected] I listed the individual prices because i bought those at separate times....actually bought them all in one day just at differnt times in that day and I can prove that those are the prices I paid if someone challenges it....but no harm done if ther was a mistake...all good on this end.... Thanks, space |

That’s cool. So the engine is in pieces or already assembled? Just curious. I am really interested, but I would need a couple days to think about it. I've been looking to do a swap for some time now, and I think this is the key to get what I need. You haven’t seen the actual package? That’s ok, I just need to know how big it is, because I need to know if I can put it in my home garage or have to send it to my work.
Also wanted to ask if you know if the lines to the engine were pulled off, and not just cut off. I’ve seen some engines pulled out were the wires and lines are useless. (I know it doesn’t come with a wiring harness) Does it come with the power steering reservoir and does it come with the metal lines? I just want to say that I am thinking about it, and not sure if I want to buy it, I don’t want to get your hopes up...just being honest Do you have any references of people or other items you sold? A little cautious about sending a lot of money to somebody I don’t know. Thank you Andy |

I haven't seen the package yet and I don't know the actual size...I can call my friend and get the info of the size from him...
The engine was sold with all accessories....so the power steering reservoir is with it....the metal lines and wire I'm betting are good....if you decided you want it, I'll do the better part and open the package up and check to make sure the wires and metal lines are present...I'm betting that there is no problem there... The engine is assembled....for the accessories, He may of took make the turbo parts off to protect from shipping, but he make of made the crate so he didn't have to take them off....i'll have to look.... Reference, I sold a Supercharger kit for a Porsche 944 that I bought off ebay originally....if you go on ebay and search for the name "the spacecowboy" (the space inbetween the name may or not be there) and look at my praises, you'll see the name of the guy who bought it off me....he paid like 2K for it roughly....there was a conflict cause the kit was made for a pre 85.5 944 and neither of us knew about that, but we work out a agreement where i paid for half of the extra parts.... feel free to call me...its no big deal.... Thanks, space |

If you can take some pics I would appreciate it. It kinda works because you said you couldn’t get pics until next week that would give me enough time to think about it that is if you can hold it for me for a week or less. I just want to know what I’m getting you know, it’s a big purchase for me. And I would need to talk to my work and see if I can ship it to there (that is if the crate is to big for my garage). It’s a dealership by the way. I wouldn’t be able to get that answer until Tuesday. So if you can gets some pics for me, and hold it until then. I would have your answer shortly after I receive them, guaranteed. I am very serious about your offer. If I decide to buy, are we for an agreement for $2500 shipped?

To get my money back from this, I'll include the shipping up to the amount I paid....that will get me my money back for everything....if shipping will cost more then that, ie...I paid 265 for the shipping and it cost 270 then you'll pick up on the extra 5 dollars....
2500 is the price.....Also I believe it will be cheaper to ship it to a business address rather then a residential..... As for holding it, sorry but I can't do that....I'm in a tight situation where my RS motor is going bye bye and the sooner it is fixed, the better off I am....but so far you are the only one interested.... Thanks, Travis |
