Question

The reason I ask was, they are expensive and I don't know
I should get them. So please give some advise.

Well, what else do you have on your car in terms of style? I think just the eyelids by themselves would be kinda lame...
IMHO, the best looking cars are when people consider the whole car and don't just do a bunch of different things that don't work together in terms of style.

From a performance standpoint, I hear that these eye-lids add 17.739 HP at the wheels (j/k).

i have them and i like the aggressive look with them on. i got them because i wanted a look that was more aggressve without having to shell out $500-900 for jdm projectors or morettes. i like them and i get compliments on them but when you first recieve them you're gonna wonder why you paid so much for them. i don't know how much they are now but i got mine for 114 shipped from modern garage. hope this helped.

I am in the process getting quote from a machine shop.

I found out the Jun eyelids actually rub against the hood
which is not good.

They do rub against the hood. The hood actually rests on the eye lids. You can't see the mess until you open your hood. Also if you get them. Have them spray a few extra clear coats. Mine are all pitted and look sh**ty up close.
