Can a car ever be 100% done?
You have done a great job, best RS I have seen. I wonder if you might consider upgrading the brakes in the future to go along with that turbo. One of you mods caught my eye: SS Power steering lines. How much of a difference did that make? And in what way? That seems like an interesting angle on how to improve the steering. |

Done huh?
I second the spats/skirts. I'd also add smoked sidemarkers and red/clear tails. Brakes couldn't hurt either. Sweet car man, I'm jealous. JC |

Thanks guys, I do want to do more mods, but I'm done for about a year, I have to pay off my bills then can start more modding
Brakes will be the next thing I upgrade, that is probably the next major thing, probably either 4pots or a big brake kit. I also have some "secret" stuff in the works for my next upgrade...though that's about a year off until I have pictures dazz1, Injectors came with the Tec-2. I'm not a WRX guy but I think they fit. cditto, yes the airbag works. Bought it from SPD tunning. brucelee, have you ever seen a black car with painted sideskirts, well one of the guys up here has a Black RS with them and they look a little odd, he recommended me not to do them. And I also think the rears spats look a little funky...but the rear of the car is also in with my "secret" stuff JC, I like orange, that's why I've kept them orange Dr. WOT, ah yes the steering lines. This is not a mod I would recommend to ANYONE! First they are a pain to get on and off, maybe not so if you don't have a turbo, but with one its REALLY hard to install. Both lines cost as much as one replactment line. So why did I change them? One of the lines was touching my turbo for 6 months straight and eventually rubbed/burned a whole in it. Smoke and fluid was everywhere! It really sucked. Not difference in performance at all, infact now its louder as I think the size was just a little smaller then the stock lines. A quick sad story too You all see that Sti pink stars badge? My first mod...gone! It fell off a couple of months ago! |

How did you mount the deadpedal for the Sti pedals? I've had mine on for about a year and a half and haven't gotten round to putting the deadpedal on yet. Also, what turbo kit is that, or did you fabricate it yourself? My car looks almost like yours minus a different rear spoiler and my SL's are gold. I would recommend the subaru 4pot brakes, they stop great and you can still run 16" snow tires in the winter.
