Found this bad boy in the movie Prisoners (2013) starring Hugh Jackman. Which is a great movie.
Did some research, they filmed in Georgia (Conyers, Porterdale, and Atlanta) This scene is right next to a hospital. Gunna roughly say this was shot 2010-2011ish
Definitely repping some v7 headlights and an STI trunk. Thought i give here a try to see if the owner is on here.

the wheels orginally came black. but i painted them blurple. they just look dark in that photo because of the angle and lighting.

This may be the final color decision when time comes for real paint
Car looks pretty good, but why on earth did you not have the rear flares blended into the doors? That would make it look sooooo much better.

I saw that too!! It's in two scenes if I remember correctly. Was going to make a post about it, but the movie had only just come out. First bugeye I've seen with JDM headlights in a US movie.

Now the manhunt begins... who owns the bugeye...

i dont like blended because it would almost look stock and smooth.
i like the extra depth and lines to accentuate that there is a widebody

It's been since February since I've driven mine. hoping to get it back in the next 2 weeks though! We will see what happens though However I am not excited about the WRB, black and SRP monstrosity that it will be until summer. But oh well, that's what happens sometimes I guess.

I'm planning on upgrading the sways in the spring. Someone suggested Perrin 22mm & 25mm, front and rear respectively, with Perrin end links and stout mounts. It seems like a great setup.

Y'all are the bugeye experts, any opinions?

Edit: I should note I'm on Megan street coilovers.

This jack has become the bug's worst enemy. I need to invest in a low profile one. Also, from this angle you can really see how much lower the front is than the side. I really need some skirts to balance it out.

I jumped to a 25mm RSB from stock, and I recently downsized to a 22mm. I found the 25mm to be too stiff and caused more road noise for my DD application.

The 22mm does allow for slightly more body roll, but significantly less road noise.

On a side note, I am using upgraded endlinks as well, and 7k/7k coilovers.

I forgot to mention that I'm on Megan street coils, so mine are 10k, 8k. Mine is a DD too but I live away at college and it stays home so I drive less than 5k miles a year and I like the ride stiff. I also plan to start auto-crossing this spring.

What brand RSB and endlinks do you have?

I'm presently using a Whiteline 22mm RSB with GroupA rear endlinks. (with all the appropriate hardware/bushings as required)

I have GroupA front endlinks for the fronts as well, however my OEM ones are seized/rusted in place and its going to be a job for the spring.

I also plan to use this setup for AutoX, but for the other 95% of the time, I'm much happier with this setup.
