AFR is low 11's right now, but the car seemed happier in the high 11's.

93 octane + 80/20 meth/h2o with an M15 nozzle.
built ej257 w/cp pistons, pauter rods, stock crank
ported heads, cosworth 278/274 avcs cams (avcs map still zeroed out)
gt35r .82ar @ 25-26psi. perrin kit with a custom dump tube.

Was just wondering what the utec wizards here think of the log. I started out really conservative with timing and have been slowly adding it back in - I think it still wants more but I am happy to stop at this point.

I am still running with the stock ecu in control of fuel, with a perrin bigmaf. I haven't even managed to get the car to start with OLF but I will probably start working on a SD tune next week.

Before adding timing, lean that thing out. With Meth don't go any richer than 12:1. You will have problems if you try to keep it that rich under that much boost.

Question: Are you running an aftermarket boost sensor tied into the UTEC? If not, what was the actual boost you were running?

11:1 on 80***37; meth is a little rich, 11.7->12 would still be ok but your EGT's will be hot, which I would not overly worry about.

You have flat foot knock which is real so you are going to need to tune that out before you knock out your bearings. It's very small so I suggest you remove a degree of timing from the 7250 and 7500 70/80/90 and 100% load columns.

You have other small knock counts which IMO are real, drop timing at 5750 to be around 17 degrees, then ramp it back up to the same timing you are running at 6250. That should solve that.

Other than that have fun.

Thanks. I was running high 11's with -0.5 in the fuel map earlier... I think a -1 will bring it to the 12.0-12.2 range.

My avcr says peak 26psi, but my boost gauge stays flat right at 25. Target is 1.80 kg/cm2 which is 25.5psi.

Thanks for the tip on the flat-foot knock, I will try that tonight. The motor has always made some noise right around 5700 +/- a couple hundred rpms. I will try pulling some timing there but I'm pretty sure I have datalogs showing 1-counts there on wastegate boost.

While your setup is monstrous to say the least, I doubt you can beat an R1.
They will run 10's bone stock and trap a bit higher than I would expect you to run..somewhere in the 140's. Well, I guess if we're talking an '07 R1 because they are the fastest of all w/ 180hp.

I don't think it was new, actually from what I read last night about performance stats on those bikes I would bet it was an '00 or something like that. No way was it a new one trapping 150 LOL. I got the jump FWIW.

Damn.. that thing must pull like crazy! I like how you never really let off the gas pedal when you shifted

The boost pressure looks SOLID nice job there.
