Do I need to trade in my WRX for a boat?
I just moved to San Antonio from Anchorage, Alaska and I wanted to say Howdy. BTW, it's damn hot and do I need to trade in my WRX for a boat? I'm definitely going to HIN on August 3rd. I hope to meet up with some of you guys. Anyone here in the local area? Here's a pic of mah ride...

Those wheels are 17" ADR ikons. I think they are too small. The car needs to be lowered. Here is a link to another thread with pics and mods. I'm still looking for a place to live. Hopefully, I can find one soon so I can start more mods.

The only modfications I saw were dress up mods. When I say mods I'm refering to performance (power, suspension) mods. Hope you like Asian food because here in SA you'll get PLENY of rice.....

Ahl try to reply to this somewhat since he is probably swimming in San Antonio looking for a place to live. It has a pretty good balance of performance parts so far. Vishnu Uppipe, Vishnu Pulley, AEM intake, BPM GT turboback, TXS mbc, Samco hoses, and 2 hamsters all ready to go.

What's up man! So what brings you down here to hell? Military? Yes, there is a lot of rice around here. What are you doing the this Friday? More than likely I'll be there and I can bet money that TypeC will be also. Maybe even some of the A-town fools. Talk to you later man. mike... |

Yes, the Air Force brought me here to SA. I'm stationed at Randolph. I should be here for the next two years. I'm looking for a place to live but don't know the area. Do you have any suggestions? Most people have been telling me to live in the northern areas of SA.
I'm not sure what my schedule will be like because Monday is my first day of work. Once I get some time, I'll need to install some springs. That should hold me over until I can save up for he JICs. Sorry, I didn't post the performance mods. Performance has been slow because Alaska doens't have any good performance shops. I had to do mostly mail order. What shops are in the area. I know Cobb is around Dallas and I've read something about CTC. Where is that? Winslow |
