Default how to reset ecu?

do you just plug it out and plug it back in?

i know the ecu is located in the passenger side but how do i exactly get to it? thanks for the noob help...trying to pass emissions

NO.

just take a 10mm wrench under your hood, undo the ground (black) cable from the battery, let it sit, maybe press your foot on the brake pedal to hurry it up, reconnect the grond cable, viola. you've reset your ECU.

You could also use the Deltadash.
