Default Squeezing it all out of 440cc's

I've been having some fun lately seeing just how much power I can get out of the stock 440cc injectors. And I'm a little suprised

As long as I start fading boost by 5.5k rpm's, I never see the 90's, and my car pulls as good as it did with tuned modded stockers. So, I'm cheating a little; I've did the FPR mod, and I'm running a mix of 98 octane for safety.
Details: Deadbolt Kong turbo, full exhaust, stock TMIC.

I've got a set of pinks ready to go in, and I'll probably put them in just as a safety factor, but I wanted to inform the community on what could be accomplised with the stock 02-05 injectors and good gas

What are your AFR's by redline?

My STi's was only pushing about 13 lbs by redline and at 12:1 AFR (had water injection) my IDC's were around 85.

More boost...smaller injectors...near same IDC...? I'd think your AFR would have to be really lean.

I'm sure I would be running static on the injectors if I didn't taper the boost off significantly at 6k rpm's. I'm talkin' going from 400 to 100 for my CLB #'s. With my driving style, I almost always shift before 6k anyway, so it doesn't really matter. Mid-range torque is my 'cup of tea'

You're also in a geographical region where you don't get as much severe cold. On an average winter morning here, about 15-20F ambient, seeing 25-35F IAT, 13.5 psi or so is enough to see up to 95% IDC at stock fuel pressure and moderate (11.7:1) AFR.

Now, an additional 10psi in the FPR would net me a 10% drop in IDC, and water/methanol injection would yield about another 10% (because I could lean out another point or so in AFR)... I'd need to do both before I'd feel confident in running anything more aggressive than the stock turbo.

Yeah, I've considered that. The air is just not as dense around here because of the temps. I did the above pull this morning, and it was about 50F out.

Can anyone recommend what I could do with my timing to inrease torque in mid-range?

your timing looks pretty good...but without seeing your EGT's AFR...and the fact that you're running 98, it's hard to say how much you can move.
