I was going to wait to do a full review, but I will post my to date experienes. I started with a basic stage two retune off the Cobb AP that was then a PDX re-tune. John was 100% honest from the start "PDX are goodtuners, so dont expect a huge gain from where they are". He worked with the tune and smoothed things out to stock like characteristics. Of course I was back, need more power, I went with 100% Akuma recomendations, HTA68 and all supporting mods, then I went off on a tagent (FMIC, three different exhausts, intakes etc) Cyclinder #3 went, again back to Akuma and who I have grown to trust!

Akuma stage-1 block, ACT HDSS, HSF-2, ISC Coil Overs, ISC mini 6-pot front BBK. I will go no where else as long as Akuma is operating a business. John does not oversell you, Kevin always returns calls (good or Bad), the guys in the shop are honest (I have left expensive laptops, money etc. in the car, never touched), my Alpine System never on or turned up channels changed etc., skilled and understanding friendly and know your name!

There is too much this one sucks that one sucks on the sites and not enough honest commentary on shops. Word of mouth and theses types of reviews are what makes a business thrive. I am in no way affliated with Akuma and yes we had some bumps in the road (three clutches, trans out three times). Never asked once to foot any part of the bill!
They kept me in the loop 24/7 and thats all that i ask!

Akuma Rocks!

Thanks for that review! We love having you hear and better yet really hope you enjoy the car once its done, We have hit a few snags in the road but im glad we were able to work through things to get this car the way you want it!
You have been a very loyal, fun and awesome customer to have at the shop. Thanks Again

The website could use a little work we just dont have someone at the current time to update it constantly but if you guys are interested in hoodies, hats, shirts, beanies, or anything else send me a pm or give us a call at 732-326-0090

The whole team at Akuma appreciates everyones compliments if it wasn't for you guys we couldn't be in business!

Great job with the upgrade / install on my 04. I can't wait to bring it back to you guys next week for check up. I would like to see the SZ55 on its full potentials (somewhere in the mid to upper 300whp on the dyno). You guys did a fantastic job. Thumbs up!
