Question Can 2.5 rs owners use the stock turbo kit from a 02 wrx?

Can 2.5 rs users install a turbo kit from a 2002 wrx? i am talking from the factory exhaust manifold, up-pipe, turbo, downpipe, injectors and fuel pump, and even the stock exhaust system. i was just wondering who i can sell these items to. so any advice can help me.

This has been discussed many, Many, MANY times.

Short answer is yes. BUT you'll need some work to your existing car to pull it off. I suggest that you search for a lot of the questions you seek in this forum, once the search function is back up and running.

The least expensive route is to purchase the parts from the WRX owners that are upgrading their systems for starters. You'll find LOTs of WRX parts for sale in the "Private For Sale" Forum.

Hope this helps.

Read the FAQ, some useful information in there... I'd say search, but that's currently disabled.

Also, to use the factory up and downpipe, you'll need a legacy turbo or a WRX crossmember(the latter requiring other suspension modifications to work). People usually use custom made up and down pipes.

You can't sell it as a full kit. There's a slew of issues with it.

Just wait a few days until search is back up and prepare to do some research. Hardly anyone uses all the stock pieces exclusively. Depending on what they want, they'll almost certainly need to do a variety of modifications to meet their needs. You also have injector issues from the various years(as to what type they'll accept). It's not that simple. Sorry, but I'd suggest doing a few searches once the option is back next week.

Look into the WRX power steering pump swap as well. The turbo positioning will make it akward for the inlet piping.
