Helix vs Invidia DP for XR1
Alright so I have been looking at getting a downpipe. I have a borla XR1 catback and I have been looking at either Helix or Invidia. Anyone had any experience with either of the two and this exhaust? It would most likely be catted and I am aware I need the Borla/Maddad adapter. Thanks for any input

Really? Yea I like catless but its pretty loud for around here. Why do you say invidia over helix just sound preference?

Well to me, I trust Invidia more; both for customer service and build quality. If I had not got a great deal on the GS downpipe, the Invidia catless was my next option. I have also seen more people using their product over the Helix, plus I think Helix went under if I'm not mistaken.
I am running a catless dp with the stock catback and it isn't any louder than stock to me, just the spool of the turbo is louder. Granted when my exhaust gets here tomorrow it will be louder, but then it comes down to which exhaust you are mating the downpipe with. I will have an ebay cobb looking/sounding exhaust so it will not be too loud at all, even with catless. |

Helix for catted, Invidia for catless...not from my personal experience, but I have researched for the future, and those seem to be two of the top choices for DP upgrades on IWSTI.

I was thinking about going with a Grimmspeed or similar 3" DP to replace my Bosal DP and Prodrive second cat eliminator pipe setup. I was wondering what adapter you guys are using to bolt up your DPs to the XR1. I have found a few different styles and brands so I am curious about what type I should get.
