All im saying is this car does not say subaru, its not bold enough. Doesnt have to have a turbo. It just plain says g35, supra, rx-8 which are all decent cars but their no subaru. Also why come out with a car that looks like a supercar compared to the sti yet the sti will walk all over this car anyday regardless of weight and lower center gravity. They should have used this to seperate the impreza and the wrx sti line imo.

Should be identical (or very close) to the FRS': http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2096

197 hp

2662-2711 lbs (depending on trim)

I love it. From every angle. There's nothing wrong with breaking away from the sti pack. I love the new look. BUT i wish they would bring the h6 back..this car with a turbo h6. Perfection.

I love this car. It has decent power, decent mileage, practicality and packaged in a compact size yet do not squeeze the catchup out of you. I look around and most new car that I can afford is sized like pig on wheels. I would love turbo model but the NA is not bad.

I love it. Has kind of a sky/solstic thing going on, but way cooler. Screw AWD, just needs antoher 100hp and this'll be a nasty lil coupe.

It looks fantastic without the wing, though I do sort of like the look of the car with it.

Why do people keep comparing it to a [WRX] STI? RWD has much less drivetrain loss than AWD, and the car is supposed to be quite a bit lighter. It's also already been stated that it isn't being designed to compete with the STI... they're two very very different cars and will appeal to a different group of people.

I'll keep my WRX to haul the wife and kids through the rain and snow... and I'll take the BRZ out for some twisty road fun.

Add another 100hp, and I'd imagine it'll start to get tail happy. I haven't REALLY looked, but has there been discussion of weight distribution? What about the diff? The only deal breaker for me would be an open diff.

me and the lady were looking into a new car looks like were just gona get an outback sport and with the money left over i guess ill just get a first gen rx-7 instead. dont get me wrong the car looks great but i would rather giggle every time i put my foot down to a green light then hug the corner, when cornering id rather feel like im fighting for control instead of just walk on threw a corner F electronics pull the abs and power steering slam the car and then youll have loads of fun when you coming away from a corner with your balls in your chest. cars are need to have some hair to them thats why 400 awd cars are great all balls no brains just luck instead of a surgically placed 200 rwd

I like it as a potential drift car! The rear and the front look like two different cars tho, if they could only make the front look as good as the back...

You're missing the point of this car. It's not intended to go drag racing against more powerful AWD cars.

To further separate the car from the subaru lineup, lets slap a supercharger on the 2L flat four and go the route of the chevy cobalt. I would love this thing with that engine. Always knowing when the power will kick in, whats wrong with that?

it'd be nice if they had used a flat 6... didn't they make one for euro outbacks? They could at least have gone with a 2.5 or something
