Default Review request: PSI 3 Subaru Data Monitor

Could someone please write a review on this product? It is a electronic data monitor that plugs into the Subaru ECU, but also takes data inputs from external sensors. It monitors peak values and allows the user to set alarms on important data such as boost, EGT, and oil pressure. This seems perfect. Anyone own this and want to write a review?

Thank you!

I have one, but don't have time to review it now. Go on www.scoobynet.co.uk and search for psi3 secs and you'll get a ton of info. It's a uk product and that's a uk board, just about everyday somebody asks about them. There's even an active thread in the drivetrain section right now. Hope that helps.

I had one on my (US) STI, and it was nice, but it had a few problems.

The really cool thing about it is that you can monitor a lot of different parameters--ignation timing, knock detection, injector duty cycle, etc. The bad thing is that you can only monitor 4 items at a time. And it is displayed via a backlit LCD display, which turns black if you let your car sit in the sun.

I also had a problem with the PSI3 units ability to read CELs. It just doesn't work right.

I ended up returning it, and replacing it with a Defi setup. I miss some of the info I was able to get before, but nothing beats 60mm analog gauges!
