Wow...horrible.
someone knows this murderer and should turn them in.

If you are reading this and you are the murderer, turn yourself in...you gotta pay to play.

my prayers and condolences go out to the Medina family.

Hmmm, I think the ****ing dummy in this case is perhaps the driver who hit the guy and took off...maybe...I could be wrong, but I'm not.

They created cross walks with a light for a reason. Maybe he should have used it instead of playing frogger in real life.

Yes, I agree that wasn't smart. But seriously, who committed the greater crime here, both legally and ethically? And we don't know the driver's exact speed, but it seemed to be quite fast and most likely significantly over the limit...

I think of myself.. I sometimes romp it time to time, and when people walk out in front or cars do something totally idiotic. it scares the **** out of me and pisses me off because its too hard to stop trying to avoid them. People need to be more aware of whats going on.

I agree though, the driver should have stopped and he prob would in much less trouble as its the pedestrians kinda fault

YOU GUYS ARE BOTH RIGHT in you points of views. the guy should have ran or used a cross walk and the driver should have not been going so fast and should have stopped. well in the end, a person was left to die because of reckless driving.
i think we can all agree that whenever anyone is driving on a street or highway, speed should never be used recklessly. as a responsible driver we all know we need to always be awear of what is in front of us and what can possibly jump out or happen in front of us. im a father of two and i just cant imagine killing someone else's son or sister or mom and just leaving!! no remorse just running . this coward ran . he took someones father away from them. someones husband. a son. damn.....
thats the point we need to focus on, he did the wrong thing.

I think we need to educate everyone that the cars have the right of way, so stay the **** out of the street unless its your turn. Prob save many lives too.

Yeah. Driver was definitely wrong to just speed off. I can't imagine the immediate psychological impact hitting someone with your car could ignite. I'm sure there was that instinctive pause... then a jolt of adrenaline to decide to stay or go, and the coward left. How someone can just leave a scene like that is beyond me. Inhumane.

The real ethics question is if this was on a dark night, no lights or witnesses or cameras around. Would you stay or go?

No matter how it plays out. The driver will get caught.

The guy crossing the street was in the wrong. But that doesn't make the driver's actions right. Nor does it mean that he deserved to get hit.

An entirely sad situation that will both ruin the psyche of the driver and the family of the walker.

Out here in Palmdale we have some really dark streets and I have had situations where peds would walk in the dark jay walking and expect cars to see them at the last moment because they think they have the right of way. Hope the driver turns themselves in and man or woman up to their crime.

R I P to the jay-walking dad. His life ended short from being careless. Now as for you the DRIVER you are in for some BIG trouble. You gotta lot of charges . And most of all your conscience will eat at you and leave you miserable. Turn yourself in. It's cleansing for the soul dude.
