I called today, and they are waitting to place the order till they get the final number of people that are in. The guy on the phone couldn't give me a date that was happening. From the last email I got I would think they are closing it today, and placing the orders monday, and shipping the same day. That is just want I am guessing from the email I got from them, not what they said.

If thery're 16X7 they should, if there still 6.5"- you'll need spacers.

This still open?

I have been wanting these brakes in black for a while... I can't stand the bare metal look that I have seen in other pictures and this actually looks very sweet!

Thanks,
-Nigel

any word on the rear kit yet? I'll pick it up asap if you can get the front AND rears painted in red, and if they fit under rota sdr 17's and on an 05 wrx.

I just want to be clear, because I am not from looking at the pic in the first thread.. Are the calipers actually power coated black from the factory or are they the grayish metal color:

This:

Edit: I can't find pics of the power coated black 4 pots that suby makes....grrrr Also note I am ONLY refering to the caliper not anything else in that pic.

Thanks,

-Nigel

My CC was charged but no word on if the brakes shipped yet. They said it wouldn't be charged until it shipped so we will see. I am not to worried, I am sure they will be in my hands soo, rally performance is a good group of people.

Default Update

Hi folks!

Just wanted to give an update:

All the calipers, pads and rotors have been placed on order as of last week. We had confirmed that the calipers were "in country" and they are, but we were told it would be about two weeks.

We had one member of the group buy who wanted a refund immediately after paying, as we hadn't shipped the complete kit immediately. If anyone else is concerned for some reason, please let us know, but remember: this is a group buy. The reason that we are able to give a price that is so extremely low is because they are a special order item... we run the group buy, and order a batch at a great price. When we run a buy like this, we do make sure that we can get the product quickly, but it isn't an "on the shelf" item.

We'll keep this price open until the brakes ship to us from the suppliers... about another 8 or 9 business days, to my knowledge at this point.

Regards,
Ken

Thanks for the update. Looks like they won't get to me before the 9th of July. I am going on vacation that day for two weeks, was kind of hoping they would get to me before then.

Talked to Jay today- there not in yet, he thought pretty soon. I don't know if they are awaiting customs inspection or something of the sort. I know they came from Japan. Rotors are on there way from DBA's warehouse.

Hopefully soon.

Does anyone know what size bleeder screw comes on the 4-pot calipers. I'm looking to buy speedbleeders but do not know if they use the 7 or 10mm size.
