Default Quick injector Flow question

I bought some modded injectors a while back and just had them cleaned an flow tested. They installed new caps and o-rings also. Here is what I know. In a 30second test @ 40psi each injector ran within 2 ml of each other. They flowed @ 132ml. in 30 seconds. I need to know what cc they are flowing. Its should be around 800cc. Thanks

If you want a direct ml to cc conversion, they are equal. 1ml = 1cc. I believe injector flow rates are measured in cc's per minute, so with the info you gave, it looks like yours are flowing 264cc. Seems a little low, since stock injectors flow 440cc.

Yeah thats right 1ml = 1cc, I think I would call the company who modded them and ask how they come up with that figure!

Did the person you buy them from have them flow-tested? If so, what did their sheets rate them at? It is possible that they were modded incorrectly.

They were modded by a guy on here. He sent them to me and told me that they just needed to be cleaned and flow tested. I had that done local. When I picked them up, the guy said that they were flowing so much that he had to turn the machine off. They should be somewhere around 800cc. Remember, that was just a thirty second test he gave me. So the number you gave me should be doubled, but its still way to low,.....hmmmmm

Well, if 1cc = 1ml, and yours tested at 132ml/30 seconds, then the they are flowing at 264cc per minute.

Yeah, you would think, but there is no way that that is what they are flowing. They were 565cc before the caps were cut. I Think it has something to do with the pressure or something.

I don't think so, you got them tested at 40psi and I think static pressure is 43psi so that's pretty close...

The part that gets me is this: "...the guy said that they were flowing so much that he had to turn the machine off."

Obviously 264cc per minute won't outflow the machine. My guess is he gave you some misinformation somewhere along the line. For example, maybe they flowed 132ml in 10 seconds, that would mean your flowing closer to the original goal.

IT says in his comments, "over my scale" He also said when I was there that he has several V8 cars that he had injectors tested for that wernt even close to mine. I told him they should be somewhere around 800cc. He told me that 800cc it way more than he had ever tested for. When he told me "like 30seconds" he sounded like he didnt know for sure how long he did it for. I am kinda pissed about it. I really need to know how much these things are flowing.

If you're certain they were tested incorrectly, send them out to Witchhunter or somewhere more reputable to be tested again, properly.
