vf43 is a great turbo.
blouch 20gxt(r) is a great turbo. mixing parts from one turbo to the other should be done by people who are bored and have money to burn. |

There must be a glitch in the matrix. And people who do 6 speed swaps are NOT ignorant. Kickbacks much? Last edited by jack klompus; 01-31-2013 at 08:03 PM. |

And, most people who do 6 speed swaps are ignorant as they are sheep who get a 6 speed for the sake of getting a 6 speed to tell their buddies they have a 6 speed. Is that YOUR case? I don't know....I don't know you, but there's no need to get all butthurt. I can list the pros and cons between 6MT vs. 5MT and 97.6% of Subaru owners can't list what they had for lunch yesterday so that puts me in the spot of being able to offer my opinion and for many it is 5MT and likely is the case for the OP. I get 0 kickbacks from any transmission manufacturer or installer. I currently have PPG gears in my car and you know what? **** PPG. Would someone with a vested interest say that? |

"I have no statistical data to back this up only data that I have seen by haunting the transmission forum since you were in middle school"- so by reading this tells me that you may have bad information?!! Your trusting someone else's poor logic something you wanted to tear into me about the other day!
Hypocrite much? Knucklehead?? Come on man really? I can see if i came on this forum and asked "which cold air intake is better" But i came on here for information, i know parts will break..im well aware of the things to come! I baby that tranny for the simple fact is i know whats going to happen..ignorance is not in play here.. Lil shoaf (good friend) told me 12k is what it cost him for his ppg set.. I can get a 6 speed swap with brembos 3k.. I mean do the math Shoaf did the ppg for the simple fact he was at 500+hp All i want is 350+ 6 speed seems more realistic to me. Same as everyone using there heads and keeping there wallet fat 6 speed is the way..for the cost |

Jack
thanks for the input its much appreciated!! Looking into a cross pipe from gs now 3pbcs is grimmspeed I went with the 11mm spacers simply because i want to do the rotated intake manifold in the near future. Closest e85 station is 45min...figured meth is the next best thing.. I have contemplated doing the 550cc injector mod then flow test them. The mod sets the injectors something like hi 700's low 800's cc. 6 speed seems the best bang for your buck! Thanks again |

Can you at least agree that they are very robust, and with all the years they have been out now, buying a 6 speed is an affordable option. I know your knowledge level of these cars is at a master level, and far beyond mine. That said, I am not completely ignorant of these cars and I keep reading these inflammatory statements and I can't figure out why. |
