Getting caught up from tuning trip in Brazil My apologies for the delayed response.
Since my last post, I have corner balanced and lowered the rear a little bit more to settle things out. I also set the alignment. Without adding a camber kit in the rear, what you see pictured is -2.5 degrees camber in the rear. The front is currently running -2.75 front camber. The front doesn't rub at all, however, once I lowered the rear a little more, I started rubbing if I drive hard or carry passengers in the back. Easy fix...did a gentle and carefully rolling of the rear fender, and a very slight trimming of the bracket that connects the rear bumper to the 1/4 panel. Now I can drive as hard as I want without rubbing and I think the stance is perfect at this point. Here are my current final settings if anyone is curious. Front Camber -2.75 Front Toe: 0 Front caster 8 degrees Rear camber: -2.75 (will change to -2.0 once I install the camber adjusters) Rear Toe: 1/16th inch toe in each side. This is a great dual purpose alignment setup, IMHO. Tracks dead stable and straight and steering wheel has great return feedback and return to center. Does anyone happen to have the official 2015 OEM STi alignment specs? I have everything through 2014 but I know Subaru made major changes to the rear alignment on the 15....haven't found any published data though. |

Sorry if this is a bit of a dumb question, but if the GR/GV suspension fits then the same would be the same for the rear camber bolts?
Also, do the hub bore sizes match? Did you swap over the hub rings? Last edited by Stickers; 05-04-2014 at 04:15 PM. Reason: additional question |

On a side note, Some of the GT Spec and Whiteline braces such as the rear tie braces, front and rear upper strut bars won't fit, and the front sway bar isn't cooperating either. Happy to answer any other questions you all have. Sharif |

Are you still entertaining the idea of trading your 15' wheels for oem 11+?
Which style 15' do you have? |

Okay, straightening out my questions. Did you notice a big difference between this setup on your "11 vs the "15? Would you say it reacts better with the new STI or with the older one?
Thanks in advance! Last edited by Stickers; 05-15-2014 at 02:58 AM. Reason: Question not relevant |

Had the opportunity to see this on the Tail of the Dragon yesterday, unfortunately not under the best circumstances. Glad to see your friend was alright. Wish I could have done more to help. It looks and sounds incredible!

And 8 degrees of castor? Do you have castor adding parts on this car already? Last edited by Boxer4u; 05-26-2014 at 03:32 AM. Reason: : |

1) Rear sway bar works just fine, as do the rear end links and Whiteside sway bar support bracket. I haven't tried putting the WL front bar, but probably won't...IMHO the front OEM bar is fine. I was at the Dragon the week of May 17th through Sunday for ZDAYZ. Did you see me up there? Quote:

Thank you for posting your results with the 2015 STi off the shelf. Do you happen to have the official 2015 spec sheet for alignment? If I am not mistaken the reference page you posted is for a a pre-2015 or is it actually for the 15?

Makes we wish I did some tracking testing with the 15 when it had the bone stock suspension. But then again, I can't recall ever setting up a Subaru...or any car for that matter...to OEM alignment specs...haha. |
