Thanks man!

I was originally going to do a double-pump in-tank setup but after talking w/ Sean @ Vigilant Motorsports that quickly changed!

He told me he had this setup for sale that he had built for a customer but fortunately for me, the customer thought it was to loud in the trunk area of his hatchback after a short time of driving so I bought it for a really good price!

Yea I can't wait to have everything finished with the fuel system so we can finally set the boost to 28psi!
A great thing I love about this pump is the low/high speed setting on the power/ground side of the pump :-)

Big Things Going On @ TPG Tuning!

The fuel system is coming together and really starting to take shape!

Nate has been making great progress daily with the trunk layout trying to safely mount the surgetank, filters and pump while also maximizing trunk functionality by till having space and being able to haul around the spare tire if I felt the need to since this we have decided to keep the full street interior, and its street manners intact while able to make low 10 sec passes at the track!

Take a look at the custom mounting bracket in the trunk!

Probably have some more pictures tomorrow or the day after when everything is all finished up and ready for the rollers!

Be sure to ask what fuel lines they are using for this setup. Do not use rubber braided lines. They will deteriorate very quickly with pump gas or E85 and your garage will smell like a gas bomb.

I had them on my turbo fox body and my garage wreaked. This is a big problem I your garage is attached to your house.

You want to run Teflon PTFE fuel lines. Preferably the line ends should be machine crimped to avoid any chance of leaks. Most shops I contacted didn't know about this problem. It's become more prevalent with E10 and E15 pump gas b/c the ethanol eats the lines.

Good luck, car looks great.

Thank you for the concern and advice since you have dealt with the problem through first-hand experiences!

We are using Russell "Pro-Classic" lines, which was Nate's first recommendation as soon as we started talking about doing the lines, I did plenty of research before buying and everyone seemed to have very good experiences with these lines using E85!

Keep Making Progress!

Got a little bit more done yesterday at the shop with cutting the lines to proper length and getting the feed/return lines from the rails connected but unfortunately ran out of line to finish running from pump assembly to surgetank but ordered more which should arrive tuesday!

Check out the machined holes in the bracket as well instead of it just being plain flat-stock since nothing will be mounted in that area!

How did you run the lines through the cabin? ( Mainly where did you go through firewall at? )

Looks good!

Thanks man!

I ran them through the firewall in the same location as the stock lines and even used the factory rubber grommet by just making the holes a lil bit bigger and fit like a charm with no chance of rubbing against metal

EDITED: The -8 & -6 Russell Pro Classic lines fit in the exact same spot as the stock lines did running them through the cabin area under the hard plastic shielding on the driver side as you can see in the previous post pictures from when I was removing the stock lines! I thought fitment was going to be an initial issue but after test fitment, everything fits perfectly with no sign of crimping throughout the routing

Thank you!

Can't wait to see this week how much it is going to make!

I had to order some more pro classic line from summit on friday to finish the lines from the in-tank assembly to the surgetank then everything will be finished and on the rollers!

Plenty of beer and cigarettes will be consumed to help calm my nerves on that day this week bcz I always get nervous on tuning day lol

IT LIVES!!!

The package from Summit arrived a day earlier than expected!

As soon as I received the package, I headed over to the shop to meet up with Nate and we finished the fuel lines to the surgetank from the in-tank pump assembly and hooked up the remainder of the lines in the engine bay to the Fuelab FPR!

Fired up first try with no leaks anywhere and will be on the mustang dyno tomorrow afternoon so stay tuned for final results!

Default Final Tuning Numbers!

Dyno Time!

The time has finally come and damn was it fun!

Spent the day with my good friends Nate & Jason from TPG Tuning to make the power that we have all been waiting for!

The car was finally ready today with some fresh Sheetz E70 pump gas and it did the job just fine! Thanks to the upgraded fuel system, we were able to reach our desired boost level(31psi) with right around 78-80% IDC using the external pump set to low speed!

Check out the first post of thread for updated info and here is a video!
