Centerline RMP wheels, any reviews?
Im strongly considering Centerline RPM wheels in 18". I saw them at the IAS show this weekend. 14.6# with a 42mm off set. Has anyone had any good or bad experiences with them. The other wheel I'm considering are the Prodrive P1's; 23#. Any thoughts?

The low offset seems to keep people away from them. Otherwise, they're incredibly light for their size as well as forged. I've never heard anything bad about them.

i have those wheels on my WRX. Black Pearl 18"s. love them! i have Dunlop SP Sport 9000's on them. my car is lowered so i initially put a bit of camber on the rears but it's really not needed. they look awesome and this wheel/tire combo is lighter than my old OZ SL's 17"s with Dunlops. i would say get them, then i would say NOT cuz i want to be the only one with them!
BTW: i have read some specs showing these weigh 13.5 lbs but i have not weighed them myself. they are lighter than my last set up tho |

Any rubbing problems?
How much are you lowered? Have you had any issues with the tires rubbing? How about the tires sticking out past the rims? Do the 225's fit ok on 7" rims?

Thanks Shane |

i would actually recommend going with 215/40/18 on these wheels. i have 225's and they are a bit wide. Dunlop is usually a large tire tho. i am lowered about 1.5 front and 1.5 rear and have no problems(MRT springs). i have had quotes on these from 265 per wheel to 335.00 per wheel. i ended up going to my long time shop(tucker tire in So cal) and getting them for 240.00 ea. they give me the sweetest deals tho! that was pretty much at cost from my buddy. i think the only rubbing problem that you may encounter is while turning a sharp radius and hitting a good size bump in the front. my car is in the shop but i will post some pics for you when i get it back later this week so you can see what it looks like on the car you can get them thru Discount or America's Tire also.

I love the RPM's, but since the offset is so low, I am not even going to bother with them. I am saving for a set of Volk TE-37's

A local WRX sedan owner was one of the first to have the RPM's on his car way back when. He runs 215/45-17 Azenis ST-115's & is on CUSCO Comp-2R coilovers at a decent drop. He's never had rubbing problems. Those wheels are way light too!

I just put a set of 18" Centerline Excels on my car, and like them alot. They have close to if not the same offset as the stock rims. They're the same weight as the RPM, one piece, and forged as well. If you guys like Centerline's, check these out on their web sight.

Try calling them, or just find a shop that sells them. I'd tried posting a pic, but apparently I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed

i have the RPM's in Black Pearl 18 x 7 42mm offset. here's a pic from a showing before they released them. i got this from an employee of Centerline. i believe the 18's weigh 14-14.5 lbs and the 17's weigh 13.5 lbs. they are actually a bit darker than the picture shows.

Offset is not a problem on the Sti and I would get 235's or 245's on them. Light wheel.

Is anyone here running RPMs 17x7 with the 42 offset?
I know many people say 42 is too low, but i wanted some real world feedback from anyone actually running them for a long time.. Thanks! |

sube-dude had some for awhile (and is now selling them because he thinks they won't fit his new STi). He had no fitment problems with 225s on 17x7.

I am looking for a single centerline wheel. I broke one of mine and have to replace it. It is a 18'' black pearl centerline rpm 5 - 114 mm bolt pattern or close to it.
please respond at [email protected] Eric |

Centerline may have one lying around but it will probably be polished since they stopped powder coating the RPMs .
