Good turnout for first of the winter meets. We had 6 cars. One of them, somethingclassy, has only been in Seattle 2 weeks. Him and his sleeper bugeye are from the Bay Area. Welcome.

Went to Red Robin. Think I'll nominate Dylan to pick next restaurant. Or Robert so we can hear some crazy Coast Guard stories.

And thanks to ChosenOne for bringing some donations.

Sorry man, we'll be a no show this year. It's cool to visit everybody but having it the second year at Pomona isn't really doing it for us. It might be a different story if they opened up the drag strip and we would be in for sure if it were at a different venue down there. Plus all the cougars in Laguna Beach were giving Shaun the creeps.

Agreed, if the venue were better and offered more things to do than walk around in a parking lot all day we'd be all over it!

Auto X was cool, but they need drag and dOriftInG

I didn't mind all the cougars

Sucks we won't be able to hang with you and your neighbor Chip... Oh and the guy who doesn't wear shoes... He was cool!

Bump for this week. I'll be there this week to collect for the VTR drive. If you can't bring food you can always bring money. It was announced yesterday that $1 will equal 6 pounds of food.

What's the plan for a place to eat this time Chris?

Agreed that the venue needs improvement. There was a survey offered for all attendees and I mentioned the need for more driving events. A/X and wet skid pad isn't enough to attract out of towners.

Hopefully it changes location next year and more out of towners would be enticed to come. I envision Dy's car getting trailored down here for tracking and us having a big party next year. I can get ya'll some coug's and we can invite Aaron back. I could also see if Mimi wants to join us!!

BTW, my neighbor Shawn just did a marathon...barefoot!
