Anyone on here play drums?
I have a custom maple Pork Pie kit for sale. The kit lists for close to $4000, but I am willing to let it go for $2000. It's in mint condition, not scratches, markings or anything wrong with it. It's just been sitting around in my room and I have not found a local buyer yet.
The kit has a copper sparkle lacquer finish painted on the drums, not a cheap "wrap" that a lot of beginner drum kits have. This is a professional kit and took about 8 months to have built. The dimensions for the drum set are: (diameter x depth) Bass drum - 24 x 20 Rack tom - 12 x 8 Floor tom - 16 x 14 I'll throw in some free soft cases for the drums too. Let me know if you have any questions and if you know ANYONE who plays music or is in the industry, pass the word on. These drums need a good home! (I have better close up shots of the drums too. PM me if you need any other pics)

If no one picks up this whole kit in a few weeks, I will consider parting out the snare then. I'll definitely let you know. |

Bringing this back from the dead. Drums are still for sale and still in the same/mint condition as they were when I first posted this. They have just been sitting around and I would like to find them a nice home!

Thanks man! Yeah the set it killer, I wish I didn't have to sell it but I really just need the money now. The band I was going to use them in never took off like I thought too, so these need to go to someone who can put some use to them

Just some info for anyone interested...
In regards to the size of the kick drum, it has more volume to it than a standard 22" kick, but nothing overwhelming. I found that a little bit of muffling on the resonant head keeps the drum from being to boomy and gives it a nice attack. Didn't have any problems in the studio either with the drum being too loud or powerful. Maple drums are pretty versatile too, having a nice balance of warmth and tone over other woods. If these drums were birch, it would be a whole other story |
